Pally General - Palletizing buckets

Currently, we support creating patterns with rectangular objects. If you want to palletize cans, you need to create the pattern with the bounding rectangles of the cans.

We have also managed to create a pattern for cans in a triangular layout, as shown in the picture below, but this requires some manual work.

Math of the layout

First, you’ll need to define the box dimensions as 2x the radius and 1.41x the radius of the can, and edit the layout manually: shift the boxes by r in every second row. When the pattern is done, load the JSON file in any text editor and modify the product dimensions manually to the bounding rectangle of the cans, 2r by 2r.
