The Digital Twin

Industry 4.0 has transformed the way we work by reducing costs, increasing digitalisation and improving efficiency. At the same time, the platform revolution are currently shaping the way we sell. These macro trends are currently driving the development of industries, transforming companies in orderly fashion. Common for these trends are that they increase the tempo, making competition more intense and the lack of development more costly for laggards. In these circumstances companies have to navigate, make decisions and develop rapidly. This is the reason we developed our Digital Twin-based simulation tool. Meant to help customers navigate, our Digital Twin strengthens the appeal of cobots through increased trust, reduced decision time and provision of accurate data. We mainly aim to support companies in the Food & Beverage, Fast Moving Consumer Goods, Cosmetics and Pharmaceutical Products to make well informed and rapid decisions in order to get the most of their investments.

Our Digital Twin is a visual representation of a physical cobot built to make valuable information accessible before installation to decrease the integration time. The Digital Twin provides decision-makers with valuable software and hardware information regarding potential or existing projects through simulation.

Digital Twin Benefits

When decision-makers are facing decisions related to technology adoption, access to information is essential to get the desired outcomes. The Digital Twin can play a vital part by enabling gathering of this information through:

  • Decreased integration time

  • Improved decision making

  • Project validation and feasibility status

  • Palletizing pattern optimization

  • Cobot performance data

How does it work?

The Digital Twin is running on the actual software as in a real life robot to simulate behavior as exact as possible.

Multiple simulations can be done simultaneously, making it easy to compare different hardware setups and software settings. This technology allows us to record and store the simulations for easy sharing with relevant stakeholders.

The simulation result is presented in a web interface.
