Installed robots

MyRobot.cloud also has a function to store backups of your customer's robot after you’re done installing the robot and configuring Pally.

This backup of the installation will contain the program and the installation file.

When using Pally for Polyscope X, you go to Export Configuration and export it.

When using Pally 3.x for Polyscope 5, go to the installation tab in Pally, and under backup, press the backup ACTIVE configuration button. This will create a zip file ready to upload to MRC. This backup of the installation will contain the program and the installation file. It will not contain verified status and offline waypoints for the patterns.

Pally for Polyscope 5

Pally 2.12 or older:

Do a backup of the Pally installation and extract the follwing files

.urp
.installation
license_request

These files you compile to a new zip file that you can upload to MRC.


In MRC, go to the customer and go to Installed robots and upload backup file by creating a new installed robot and using the Zip file from your USB stick.

This creates a complete robot configuration with calibrated mounting position of the robot as well as calibrated pickup and pallet positions.

Per now, it does not include information regarding the frame. If you need that, you can open the hardware configuration with the same name and add frame etc.
