Primary

The primary conveyor setup has four different cards for input:

  • Production line name

  • Pickup position

  • Conveyor total width

  • Fixed guide position

  • Fixed guide width

Production line name

The conveyor can be named to be displayed in the Pally Operator Panel. Naming the conveyor has the best use case when palletizing from two conveyors.

Robot position

Calibrate the pickup position

After placing the calibration box on the end of the conveyor, calibrate the pickup position by moving the robot over the box with the gripper perfectly in the center of the box.

Card 2: calibrating the pickup position by pressing Change Point/Set point

Conveyor total width

Type in the total width of the conveyor. This should include everything that the robot, gripper or the box could collide into.

Fixed guide position

Fixed guide position is that side of the conveyor that is stationary or not adjustable.

The left or right side is defined by standing at the end of the conveyor and looking upwards at the conveyor.

Fixed guide width

Measure the fixed guide width. This could also include objects that the robot could collide into.
