Calibration box
The reason for using a Calibration box is due to ease when calibrating the pickup position and to give better reach when calibrating the pallets. (the gripper it self would have struggle to reach the corners of the pallets. a box in between give the necessary space)
You can use any box as the calibration box when calibrating your palletizing setup, but usually the actual box to be palletized is used.
Type in the Length, Width and Height of your calibration box into the following screen during the Pally installation:
The length of the box is always the side parallel with the conveyor.
Note: The same calibration box must be used for Pickup calibration and Pallet calibration.
Note: For accurate calibration, it is highly recommended to use a calibration box with a length and width bigger than the gripper length and width.
